FolderProof Privacy Policy

Summary

FolderProof does not collect, transmit, sell or share personal data. Selected folders are processed locally on the device and are not uploaded to AMCB Studio.

Selected folders and manifests

The app receives access only to the folder you explicitly choose with Apple’s Files picker. It reads file paths, names, extensions, exact sizes, modification dates and contents needed to calculate SHA-256 hashes. FolderProof does not edit, rename, move, copy or delete the original files.

Generated CSV and JSON reports are written temporarily inside the app’s private cache so you can share or save them. Temporary files remain under operating-system storage management and may be removed by the system or when the app is deleted.

Cloud and third-party providers

Files providers control the availability and download of their own items. A provider may need to download a selected item before FolderProof can read it. FolderProof has no AMCB Studio cloud service and does not access folders you did not select.

Purchases and local preferences

In-app purchases are processed by Apple. FolderProof reads the verified App Store entitlement needed to unlock lifetime access. The app stores only whether the free manifest was consumed in preferences accessible to the app. AMCB Studio does not operate a user account or purchase-tracking server for FolderProof.

Analytics, advertising and tracking

FolderProof includes no analytics SDK, advertising SDK or cross-app tracking technology.

Children

Because the app does not collect personal data, it does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Changes

If the app’s data practices change, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosure will be updated before the new practice is introduced.
